Be part of the Lab – Urban Ideation Lab Fellows wanted

On December 2nd, the first generation of our Fellows came together to present their final work and projects that were created during their time with us. The Urban Ideation Lab – laboratory for the urban quarter of the future and heart of B-Part Am Gleisdreieck – is now looking for the next generation.

The second Fellow Season will focus on the sustainable design and use of public spaces and the exploration of new urban public living spaces.

How do we model transport? How do we mobilize sustainable concepts? How do we live and work tomorrow? We are seeking new approaches for a future in liveable cities with meaningful work – not only for a global creative elite, but for everyone.

Pioneers and visionaries from all professions and walks of life, hand-picked by us, can access the space and network at B-Part Am Gleisdreieck free of charge for six months. In exchange they make their work available, for example, for profiles, presentations, insights, or studies. Also, our Fellows will collaborate on two design sprints and public presentations.

Over the past six months, the Urban Ideation Lab has set up numerous panels, workshops, and talks with its Fellows and their diverse ideas. In the B-Part Blog, you can get your impression of the potentials that the network and cooperation can exploit here. Topics like circular and sustainable building, data privacy, programming for kids or the development of mobile apps with students were some of the highlights.

Alongside your CV your application should include a motivation letter and a description of your project (both no longer than a DIN A4 page). You should clearly outline why your project fits the Urban Ideation Labs profile and your motivation for wanting to undertake research for and at the city quarter of the future. You will find all information here for download.

Interested? Apply now until December 31st, 2019 as a Fellow in the Urban Ideation Lab! We are looking forward to receiving your application to lab@bpart.berlin

P.S.: Many, many thanks to our Fellows of the first round! We had a great inspiring time with Tetrapix, nexTT, Circular Berlin, Franziska Sahr, Urban Participation Lab and RCKT.
