Mobility and Infrastructure Development in Berlin – Vision and Future Perspectives

The importance of infrastructure development for Berlin as a business location. 

Whenever the social and economic future of Berlin is discussed in the press and the public in general, the issue of mobility and thus also the future development of the urban transport infrastructure plays a decisive role. The way in which individual transport, public transport and other relevant mobility alternatives coexist is one of the most intensively conducted controversies of the vibrant city of tomorrow.

This event will explore the questions of which future investments are sensible and realistic for the city, how these can be implemented efficiently and as sparingly as possible for the population, and in what form and intensity the success of Berlin as a business location depends on an intelligent transport and infrastructure policy. The top-class podium will also address the task of finding a sensible mobility mix for the growing city of Berlin and discuss possible approaches to achieving the goal of an efficient, climate-friendly and future-oriented concept. After all, mobility and independence form a decisive part of the quality of life and freedom of the population – for us, as well as for future generations.
