B-Part Sports neighbourhood training

The sports ambassador of the Urbanen Mitte Am Gleisdreieck, gymnastics legend Philipp Boy, has carefully put together the neighbourhood sports program with a focus on holistic training for body and mind. Under the motto “Exercise for all,” the versatile courses are aimed at different age and fitness groups and are free of charge for all participants! The training units are designed for flexibility, endurance, strength and above all, the fun of movement and are led by Philipp Boy.

Fit ’till 99

True to the motto “You snooze, you lose”, Philipp Boy aims to strengthen not only your physical condition but also your mental well-being. Those who perceive their bodies positively increase their self-confidence. The aim of the course is to train and improve coordination, thus strengthening motor and physical skills. This is particularly important in older age because these two skills play a major role in preventing falls. People who use exercise to train their balance and coordination remain independent and can live a self-determined life for longer.

  • People between 60-70 years
  • Bring sneakers, drink, towel, possibly gloves
  • Max. Number of participants: 12 persons
  • Basic requirement: no physical impairments and acute injuries.
