Within the project Horizon 2020, an EU funding program for research and innovation, three CityTrees are currently on a #Roadshow through Berlin. Their current station at B-Part Am Gleisdreieck is coming to an end and Green City Solutions would like to present their research results and toast with you on the successful cooperation with B-Part Am Gleisdreieck.

What happens here?

What is the mission of Green City Solution?  
By uniquely combining the natural abilities of moss with innovative IoT technologies, the CityTrees have provided clean air for the creative minds of the B-Part and encouraged people to take a break in the sun. The CityTrees demonstrate that it is possible to breathe clean, fresh air at an urban hotspot between train tracks and the pulsating city life.

What makes the B-Part so special?
This experimental laboratory is for everyone who wants to discuss and develop solutions for the future of work, new mobility and urban communities under one roof. The multi-functional building, constructed in element-wood construction, is on a smaller scale what the Urbane Mitte Am Gleisdreieck will become: A place for people and companies who want to change, develop and realise their ideas. On approx. 1000 sqm, B-Part creates a meeting place for neighbours, park visitors, entrepreneurs, art, sports and culture enthusiasts, coworking areas, a public café, sports facilities, art exhibitions, and events. The heart of the building is the Urban Ideation Lab. Here, free curated workplaces are available for researching future-oriented ideas and solutions for a liveable urban district.
